About
The Transmission Section is responsible for activities involved with overhead and underground electric lines, of all voltages 44 kv and above, as well as associated appurtenances; including rights-of-way, electrical, mechanical and structural design, material, construction, maintenance and operation, cost and environmental considerations. Responsibilities in certain areas will be shared with other groups; i.e. National Electrical Safety Code Section, Environmental Committee, Real Estate Section, and Transportation-Construction Equipment Section. |
