Awards Rules

1. Entries must address the criteria for the respective category entered.

2. Entries must be received at the S.E.E. office by Wednesday, December 7, 2011

3. Entries must be submitted hard copy in duplicate (two complete/identical copies) along with an electronic copy on CD (CD should contain Completed Entry Form, Executive Summary and Description as Word documents, as well as photos and/or any other supporting files).

4. Only member companies of S.E.E. are eligible.

5. No project or part of a project which has previously been a winner may be entered.

6. Previously submitted projects which did not win may be resubmitted if they are still applicable under Rule #7.

7. Only products/projects implemented or completed within the last three years are eligible.

8. Entries must be for actual products/projects that have been implemented or completed. No proposals or plans.

9. Entries must detail products/projects initiated by the submitting utility. These products/projects must be the result of work performed by utility personnel. While some supplemental work (such as environmental impact) may be done by consultants, it is the intent that this award honors work actually performed by utility personnel rather than cases where he/she acted strictly as a project manager.

10. An entry may be submitted in one category only. Submission of the same entry in multiple categories is not permitted.

11. A company may submit no more than three entries in each category. If more than three entries are received per category from the same company, S.E.E. will select the first three projects in order of day/time received.

(Example: If "ACME Power Company" submits five entries in the Environmental category, S.E.E. will accept for submission only the first three received.)
