Southeastern Electric Exchange will recognize the most outstanding products/projects developed or implemented by member utilities. Products/projects may involve process improvement, implementation of technology enhancement or human resources innovation. SEE will announce one winner from each of these three following categories:

  • Accounting & Finance
  • Customer Service & Billing
  • Internal Audits

Awards Criteria

The following weighted criteria will be used in judging the entries. Note: An entry need not address all of these criteria in order to be considered:

30% - Achievements
What were the goals or expected results of this product/project? Were they met? What obstacles were encountered and how were they overcome or met?

20% - Innovations
Innovation in any or all of the following areas:

  • Originality
  • Promotion of Change
  • Demonstrates Continuous Improvement

20% - Application
Are there opportunities for application across different companies?·

  • Process Improvement
  • Standards Change (Proposed)
  • Cost Savings (Productivity Enhancement)
  • Revenue Producing
  • Customer Service

20% - Requirements/Expectations
Were the requirements and/or expectations of any of the following groups met or exceeded by this product/project?

  • Customer
  • Industry
  • Utility (Shareholder)
  • Regulator
  • Public
  • Employee.

10% - Technical Complexity
What was the relative complexity and cost/benefit of this product/project?
